Characters: Stoneface (stonyfaced) and Zombie (fewterer)
Date/Time: February 22nd BACKDATED
Location: Butcher's
Rating: PG-13 at most for a couple of swears and mentions of suicide
Summary: Elsa found Castor's body, which the investigation crew only identified as "that guy at the butcher's", so Stoneface has gone to go tell Zombie in hopes of both identifying the body and his loved ones. Don't be fooled by the comm, this is actually a quicklog!

[After identifying the body as one of the worker's at the butcher's, there was nothing more for it--Stoneface had to make a trip there to identify the body at the very least. Usually, this was a task that he wasn't fond of and would have preferred one of his other men to do it, if not for the fact that the only other person at the scene was Handmaiden whose countenance did not lend itself well to dispensing bad news.

Which is how he ended up at the Butcher's himself, a place he hadn't felt comfortable in since Fenrir's disappearance--he always walked in halfway expecting the ghost of the victims to haunt his meat, which was not a palatable thought.

He hesitates for only a moment before pushing the door open and walking in. When he reaches the counter, he lifts his helmet from off his head and tucks it underneath his arm; whether the kid committed suicide or not, he deserved the proper respect. He peers over the counter.]

Hello?

[He remembers himself and the fact that he has the face of a youth at the moment, and adds,] This is Stoneface of the Watch. One of your employees has been killed. Would you be able to identify him? By description, I mean, not by the corpse.

[It is through force of habit that he stands perfectly at attention, ill at ease with reporting such ill news in person.]
