Summary: After identifying the sketch of the badge on Elsa's entry as one he had seen in one of his memories, Stoneface agrees to meet her.
When Stoneface had invited Elsa to come speak with him, he didn't anticipate becoming a teenager in the process. It was unfortunate, but that didn't change the discussion that he wanted to have. It did, however, ruin the hope that as well as him recognizing her, that she would recognize him. He knew that the two of them coming from the same place was a long shot, but after seeing old friends reunite in front of him for a good year, he craved for at least a little sight of what he persisted to call home.
There were a couple reasons he asked her to meet him at the park instead of his home. One, he was tired of treating his apartment like an office - which he needed to get - with people streaming in and out of it to report and give him messages, two, he liked being outside, and three, Nobby needed a walk anyway. Waiting for Elsa's arrival, he sat on a park bench, idly throwing a small ball while the small dog chased after it, tongue lolling in the wind as he grew distracted and chased after whatever flies or spiders he decided to eat before attacking the ball once more with a vicious fervor. Nobby had been surprisingly accepting of his teenage form. After sniffing suspiciously at the clean smelling young man in front of him, he seemed to have deducted that Stoneface had the distinctly dirty smell of the city clinging to him fresh faced or not and was happy enough to drool on his shoes as usual.
He had seen that badge before, he knew it. Not on him. He had to go back into a few notes that he had kept to remember everything clearly. His own badge was in the shape of a shield, no. 177, but the eight pointed one had belonged to a young man he was certain was one of his subordinates.
Ah, well. He'd find out soon enough.
