Summary: Pillowforts and turtles.
While Youth had initially been dismayed at Turtle for somehow locking them out of the house, he hadn't stayed disappointed long. He liked the house, certainly. But he also liked the mall, and he had Ideas. Now Youth had a reason to do what he'd wanted to do since first looking in all of the shops - build a pillowfort. It was even practical!
Securely creating a pen for Turtle to play in, Youth began working on the pillowfort. Once he'd switched to using couch cushions for the walls, it stood up much better, and he was free to begin furnishing and adding to it.
It wasn't too long before he was satisfied, and he even had a room off to the side for Turtle. The pillowfort wasn't the most roomy thing ever, but it would be fun until Housekeeping figured out whatever was wrong. Youth grabbed one of the books he'd picked up at random and opened it, beginning to read.
