[Log] Pain

Summary: Prongs’ headaches are catching up to him.
Prongs groaned for what had to be the twentieth time that day in pain. Despite everything he did, the migraine that was waging a war with his head would not stop throbbing. Hot tea, sleep, enveloping himself in a dark place, massaging his temples nothing he tried worked. And unfortunately he knew of no spells that would quell the pain. It was enough to bring tears to his shut eyes and make him see cross eyed despite his glasses.
It had been like this for the past couple weeks, and by now the headaches were really interfering with his ability to function, let alone relax. He couldn’t write, as writing lead to thinking and thinking lead to pain, so he hadn’t touched the journal in weeks. He had to force himself to do his job as an Adventurer, and it was only through pure luck that Prongs could remember the spells necessary to save his life in the first place. And with the extra stress of Stoneface’s death and the disappearances and the monster attacks, the headache just kept getting worse.
For reasons even he wasn’t sure of Prongs found himself walking along in Captain Planet. He was still amazed at how the Park, Aquarium, Farmland, and other islands suddenly melded into one after the fire. It was very big and mostly quiet. Maybe he just needed to relax in some silence for a little bit. Hopefully that’d work and his headache would go away. Unfortunately for him, though, it didn’t. Actually in an instant a jolt of pain flashed through his head, right behind his right eye. Prongs screamed in pain and clutched his head, and it was so painful that he didn’t even realize his scar was burning. Doubling over on the grass, Prongs held his head seething, trying to will the pain away.
