As bad as things had been, they were slightly better. Through most of Tuesday he had someone helping him - first Kagerou and then Relic. Plus, Alchemy had fixed the jukebox, giving Goodbye stuff to listen to and practice to in preparation for the event. Even Aurora had helped out by taking care of the speakers & microphone.
He had no idea what Sailormoon was planning as far as decorations, but he trusted that the important thing for this event was that Goodbye like it. As long as it looked just a little bit less like a burn-out shell of a location, he'd be happy.
While he waited for people to show up, he started making final decisions on any changes to the layout of the bar. For example, he didn't know if he still liked the idea of living at the bar. He could easily take the space and make it an employee lounger and crash space for any seriously drunk people.
He stared up at the list drinks for awhile, too, realizing how strange it was that it was quite intact and barely dirty from all the smoke and fire. It was the name of the drink at the top that struck him as unusual; he remembered listing the items in mostly no order, except at the top -- that was in a pretty good order. So why was the top drink...
Could it be Ghost? Smoke wasn't sure to be happy or sad that he could think like that. 'Oh i named the first drink on my menu after someone, but I've forgotten him now, so that might tell me how important he was'.
Except that it was his fucking bar. And that meant something.
