Summary: Two more lovelies arrive in Edensphere, and someone is there to greet them.
Lezard was bored.
Boredom, when you were a genius, was a dangerous thing, as a mind that required constant stimuli lead to such strange endeavors. Two neat card pyramids had been built upon the table where he was seated, standing tall, making no use of two complete decks of cards. Was this how it felt to have his own proverbial cards in place, this extreme boredom, this waiting for the perfect test run? Ah, but the tests were so much fun, and he would find the right people to meet his most precious pets!
The gnashing jaws, flashing teeth, and its bellowing cry of delight as it awaited its first feast... the mage gave a sigh as a shiver of pleasure ran through his spine, the subtle twitch of his body enough to send the card pyramids scattering about. He was just so damned excited! Perhaps whatever newborns he meets today would be the lucky ones!
Maybe... maybe...
And just like that, he heard cocoons moving.
