Sky sat on the giant root looking out at nothing in particular. He hadn't been himself ever since the happens on the boat and on the fourth floor. Whatever it was he'd seen that involved Snow had stuck with him. Snow's name was apparently Allen and he'd left something very important behind. He'd tried to stop him but only managed to make the image flicker and could only helplessly watch it like some movie.
It wasn't only Snow's memory that had been bothering him it was what he'd learned from the crystal that had been attached to the starfish. He couldn't see it but he could hear it and feel it. It hadn't been a happy memory someone had been taunting him and fighting him. They were fighting over someone known as Kairi. He didn't know who it was but he recognized the voice. He heard himself call the person Riku multiple times and that name had been nagging him ever since. Of all the names though it was the name Sora that had struck him the hardest. It was his, it belonged to him. How had he forgotten something so important? A name is what makes you you. It's how you tell yourself apart form others. With the name came questions, questions that he didn't have answers too and desperately needed. He hated not knowing who he was. He couldn't understand how he had been so content over the past few weeks with not knowing.
As Sora sat there and thought on everything that had come to pass he rubbed at his chest. It had been aching ever since that memory crystal. Something happened in the memory that he'd rather not relieve but couldn't get away from it no matter how much he tried. At first he tried ot ignore the ache but it had continued giving him an empty feeling as if something was missing. He'd felt himself stab whatever it was into his chest to release his heart. He didn't know why exactly but for some reason he had to do it to save the one known as Kairi. Sora had racked his brain trying to figure out what the heart had to do with it and why he'd felt like part of himself had been missing afterwards.
Sora pulled his knees up to his chest and stared out watching the random insects fly around the tree and the inhabitants of Edensphere go about their daily routines, although they didn't seem so normal anymore. How many here had gained something back just as Sora had and how many had just as many questions as he had running through his mind. He needed to talk to someone, anyone. He'd thought about going to Fugue and talking to him about it but he didn't want to bother him. He hadn't seen Snow recently either or Night. He pulled his knees tighter as he continued to let the questions run through his mind while trying to will the ache in his chest to go away.
