Open! Pancakes and Pets

Location: Section 4, Outside and Inside of Bastet's Crib, although he may wander down to all of the sections and the marketplace Bazaar to feed the feral cats too.

Summary: Our theme for today. Apple's watching the pets. Come claim your kitty, share a pancake or unwind from the stress of the day with the ADORABLE. Also Apple needs love.

Over a week had passed since the fire had destroyed the world and there still about a dozen pets staying with Apple and Bastet. Some of them, like Invgar, the first cat Apple had found, were simply being left with the boy because their owners had no place to live. Others were still orphaned, their owners gone from the sphere. Some pets lacked tags or any identifying marks--Apple nicknamed those pets, mostly in his head--while others had fancy leather collars with their names stamped on metal. Together they made a rather adorable ragtag group, the bird boy and his animals.
Today's pet sitting was being interrupted by the appearance of a strange banana creature that called itself Nannerpuss. Twice now the one eyed thing had landed on Apple's head, serenading the sad child and freaking out the pets. Despite the chaos it was causing, the creature's silly song and offering of free pancakes was enough to bring out a rare giggle out of Apple.
It was laughter that was sorely needed in the Sphere right now.
