It had been another long, boring day on shift at the Hatchery, with a few embarrassing close calls with mistletoe on the way there, and Spike was glad to get away from it all. He hadn't made any formal plans to do anything with Companion tonight, especially after their nice time under the mistletoe earlier, but decided to stop by the Spa and surprise her, anyway. Sometimes, she could be a sight for sore eyes after a hard day.
He didn't even bother with the pretense of searching for Companion, instead going straight to her bedroom to look for her.
