OPEN! ALL DAY! Wooooo hunny_sensor October 9 2009, 18:55:24 UTC
Today was the first clear day of the week. Despite the chill requiring folks to slap on their jackets to beat the cold, it was a crisp, clear sunny day. Chosen, at work once more at the shop brought under his care, was soaking in the sunshine like anybody else... if by 'like anybody else' it meant everyone lounged on a bench in pretty clothes and posed all day.

The redhead totally dug the mistletoe, hunnies buzzing right in and sticking to him for a quick (or the occasional not-so-quick) kiss that would break the strange curse. It was a rather slow point for the casanova, unfortunately for him, so he remained laid out upon the bench, chin in a palm, watching the world go on by.

Hmm... the last one tasted like really good peach lip gloss. He hoped he could get stuck to her again.

Lucy was getting better at avoiding the mistletoe... somewhat. Luck would have it however that she'd wind up near the dress shop. She stuffed her hands into the pockets of her jacket as she spotted a familiar head of red hair. Chosen had neatly arranged himself to best show off the clothes the shop produced and with cheery smile, the glitter cutie marched over to say hello.

She tapped him on the head before looking over at him. "Having fun?"

"You know me, always having the time of my life," he casually replied, stretching out like a lazy cat on the bench. The look he gave was that of a rather sleepy one, blue eyes hooded as he gestured a 'so-so' with a hand. In one movement, he sat up and lounged, stretching his arms over the back of the bench.

"Everyone's enjoying the sunshine today, which is always awesome, but not if they don't want to come inside and make any orders! Come on, hunny, have a seat."

She knew that he didn't sleep as much as she did but something had Lucy wondering if he was okay. She sat on the bench cross-legged next to Chosen with a cheery smile on her face as a breeze blew her hair into her face. Usually, Lucy just let it fly where it wanted to but for some reason she tried to keep her hair in place.

She looked at Chosen with a slightly helpless look on her face. "You would happen to have a hat in there for sale would you?"

"I've got some awesome hats for sale, actually. However, since you've been good today, this'll be on me." With that, he stood, and proceeded for the entrance to the store...

...Only to stop in mid-step, struggling to put his foot down. One step back. Two. "O-kay, I guess the tree's going to stick me to someone real quick..."

A glance back. More forced backstepping. "Looks like it's your turn, Glitter-Cutie! I'm gonna have to opt for the cheek this time, however."

Lucy had begun to follow Chosen inside the shop when she felt the pull of the mistletoe. She was used to it by now as she stepped toward Chosen but the minute he mentioned on the cheek, she stepped back as far as she was allowed. Trying not to show it on her face, Lucy shook her head violently at her brother. It was just an innocent kiss between siblings, between very close friends but it made her feel bad

She was certain that they weren't going anywhere until they hugged or... kissed. "Can't we just hug instead? I... don't wanna kiss anybody right now."

She was really hoping that he'd understand. Of course, if he did sneak a kiss in there anyway, she'd probably just pout at him.

This mistletoe thing was really annoying. At first it was kinda fun, but now...argh. Dani hoped it stayed away after this.

Yeah, right.

By now, she'd figured out the most mistletoe-free path (despite random sprigs popping up) to and from work, which usually took her by a few benches. Namely, the one Chosen was lounged on.

...Okay, she could handle getting stuck to him. With a smile, the blonde hopped over to Chosen. "Hiya~"

Did he sense a cute little kitten making her way over? Yes. Of course he did. He had that radar, after all. A sensor, if you will. Folding his arms behind his head and hiking one leg over the other, he tilted his head up to flash a smile Cecdan's way. "And good afternoon to you, Blondie. It's nice of the rain to go away for a while, huh?"

Chosen chuckled. "Yeah, it needs to stay sunny for a while. All the rain and cold pretty much sucks! ...Oh, did you need a spot to sit?"

The redhead was up like a shot, sitting up and scooting over immediately after his inquiry, patting the seat of the bench next to him.

"Take a load off. ♥"

Smiling, Dani acted like a shy, demure young girl. "Oh, why, thank you, Mr. Chosen." She giggled. "So, how many girls have you kissed today, huh?"

Hey, he was offering a seat so she might as well take it. Cecdan sat down, curling her legs up onto the bench. "Thirty? Twenty?"

"Ah-ah-ah~" He replied, chiding her with a wag of a finger.

"No good comes from the whole kiss-and-tell!" Chosen laughed at that, crossing one leg over the other once more. He seemed a little fidgety today, but there was no way in heck he was telling anyone exactly how many he'd kissed lately... he didn't need a sock to the mouth. Did anyone? Don't answer that.

"Maybe I should be asking you!"

"None, thank you~ I hug most of the guys, since I'm saving my kisses for special people," Dani informed him. "Haven't kissed a single random person at all the last few days. Except Jules, but it was on the cheek and we're good friends so it wasn't really random!"

She shifted, discreetly (she hoped) looking up for mistletoe. Come on, Tree, I actually wouldn't mind kissing this one!

"Special, huh?" He chuckled, folding his arms now and giving her a look. Every person he'd kissed recently were trapped against their will... but if he didn't know any better, he'd say she was quite the opposite! He didn't catch that glance at the mistletoe, but he was doing his best to fight off a lighthearted laugh--

And the tree seemed to have had enough, as the swordsman was promptly shoved by some unseen force to topple in her direction. One hand caught the bench, but the other had a grasp upon her shoulder. The last time he'd seen her as up close as this was under the influence... she was really, really cute.

Well, what sort of man would he be to leave a girl hanging like this? Chosen's hand moved from her shoulder to cup her chin, and his lips caught hers.

Yes! Thank you Tree!

The last time Dani remembered kissing Chosen was at prom and they were both pretty drunk. Sober?

Just as good as she remembered. With a sort of pleased little noise, Dani closed her eyes and held on to his shoulders.

Chosen gave it another moment or two, brushing a thumb over her cheek, and quietly broke the kiss. Another was planted over her cheek for good measure, and he sat back with a chuckle.

"It looks like I wasn't alone in looking forward and taking advantage of a curse like this, huh?"

Dani giggled and sat up as well. "Nope! Well, only for a few people," she admitted. "Though I heard some popped up in really awkward places. That can't be fun." She sighed, following a giant bumblebee's flight overhead. "By the way, you're a really good kisser."

It seemed like Jules couldn't learn his lesson. He walked, reading again, lips silently forming words as green eyes absorbed the page.

So he barely noticed the pull, steadily moving towards the other redhead while remaining lost in diction.
