Summary: Mistletoe. Paladin. Eternity. Not much more to say XD
Progress was being made, and Paladin found it quite encouraging. He didn't have a job yet, but the guard was willing to interview him, and that was a step in the right direction. However, one shouldn't count their chocobos before they're hatched--he was perfectly aware that he might fail the examination, and thus needed a backup plan. That's why he was heading through the marketplace to eventually arrive at "Medical Island"--he liked the idea of helping people and healing people in particular struck a strong chord in him, so giving that a try couldn't hurt, right? And there was the weapons stand, perhaps they'd take someone on part-time?
It couldn't hurt to try, right?
That was his story, and why he was walking through the marketplace now. The fact that there were apparently bits of greenery tacked up everywhere did not escape his notice, but he really paid them no mind. Just leaves, after all.
