Summary: Nobody arrives in the sphere, and somebody is there to greet him!

With Iris's disappearance, Dash had found himself somehow drafted as a substitute "volunteer" greeter. Which meant he got all the naked goopy, and none of the pay. He wasn't sure how he'd been roped into that. At least he wasn't stuck with Charger or Steve.
Still, he had to admit greeting had to be one of the most boring jobs ever. The only benefit he could really figure was the lack of savage human-attacking desks in the hall. But even those would have been some kind of entertainment. As it was he'd spent the last few hours playing with his handheld game system, walking around restlessly, and occassionally kicking cocoons to see if that would make them more interesting. It didn't.
He was slumped in his chair, staring blankly at the rows of white cocoons, imagining melting into goop out of sheer boredom--hey maybe that's what happened to the last greeter--when a telltale wiggle alerted him.
Finally, someone hatching. He hoped it was a cute girl, as he bundled up the greeting package and headed over.
