Characters: Kazahana (snowburned), Kiba (starstruckstray), Blood (pinkhairedchild) and Range (wartimenovelty) Date/Time: Saturday, August 15, early evening Location: The branches of the tree Rating: PG-13 for violence
"Hey, you said a bad wo..." Blood heard what Kiba said before she noticed the spiders, but when she did her voice cut off quickly.
Pointing at the scene heading their way, she shifted quickly to move to one side of Kiba so that she'd be more effective.
"I got the little ones, Fangy! You deal with the big guy!" She looked around, trying to see what she might be able to use to help get their attention off Kazahana and Kiba. Picking up a rock, she remembered Stoneface's lesson and took aim at an egg.
"Hey, ugly! Come and get me!" Digging her feet in, she let fly with the rock and heard it bounce off some branches in the distance before letting out the most ineffective-sounding battle shriek known to man and hurling herself forward.
Her weapon came unsheathed as she gripped the scabbard in one hand and swung at the incoming spiders. These ones were small enough for Blood to feel like they were made for her to beat on, which she was willing to so with relish.
What she didn't expect was for them to attack back.
She sped towards the creature, sword raised as she flailed towards it's mandibles. Her blade whistled in the air as she heard an odd noise and suddenly felt herself flying backwards until she smacked into a tree unable to move. "Ugh, I've been hit! They spit!"
