Today wasn't so bad a day for Cross. He had gotten food right upon waking up even if it had been by creepy means. Food was food. He settled in his usual place in the hall with a light cup of Earl grey tea. The steam whispered into the air while he played cards on the floor. It was a soothing past time he found irresistible even without other players to play against.
He heard the familiar sounds of a cocoon wriggling before he rose to his feet. The empty cup was set out of the way as he gathered up the necessary towels and starter kit. Cross pushed his hair out of his eyes and popped his back as he waited. All he could do is wait now.
