"No wonder I'm here if you're always this stupid." Praise growled in the back of Raise's mind as the other man made his way to deck, not bothering with his visual hallucination form.
"Hey, people were talking about a dangerous creature up on deck.-"
"Which is why you're throwing us in it's path."
"-And If they're in danger, we might as well help." Raise finished his sentence, frowning. "I don't see why you're so against this. These people have been nothing but kind to us, even when you're disagreeable." The man sighed, pushing a few strands of hair behind his ear as he opened the door onto the deck and paused. He winced, lifting a hand to block the bright sun that was blinding him for a moment and allowing his eyes to adjust. As the sun was bright over head, he frowned, lifting the hood on the Cancer?-Parade hoodie up to shield his eyes.
Which the sun blocked from assaulting his view, he was able to look around- his eyes falling right onto a large, brightly coloured... thing. "...Oh. That's..."
"You're an idiot, and I hate you."
(ooc; Have an emo-haired-kid IN DISGUISE UNDER A HOOD. It's a trap. :3 Just not in the usual manner.)

...that was when the GODS seem to SHINE down on her gelantenous form. She couldn't see his face, but god that was a turn on. Realizing the one escape from her loneliness had come, Bernard made the sexiest call she could think of before hopping over to him.

"Why are you talking to this thing! You're going to get us killed or something!
"Quiet, Praise." he hissed. "It seems friendly enough..." he just didn't exceptionally wish to be around it anymore. Or at all, really. "So-" He paused as a hand suddenly came up, unbidden, to slap the tentacle away.
"Don't fucking touch us," The words had snarled from his mouth without him bidding them, Praise having shoved him aside to take over their body. His mismatched eyes narrowed, crouching slightly as he assessed the threat. It had a damn good reach... and from what he had seen, it could move quickly enough. "The hell're you doing?"
"And antagonizing it is better?!" The two rarely agreed.
