Summary: Handmaiden arrives in Edensphere, and someone is there to spastically flail in their general direction.

A girl was lazily lying on a bench in the Hall of Beginnings, a pen tucked behind her ear and he journal held above her head. Through rather thick glasses, she was scanning the entires, carefully holding the journal to keep the massive amounts of bookmarks from falling from her journal- every one of them labeled with a date and short summary. For once, a contended smile was on her freckled face. Rather than losing her way in the Wilderness with her part time job, today she simply got to wait in the Hall and greet new-comers. A much simpler task.
At noticing a particular entry being scrawled out, she reach to her side and began groping about for.. something that wasn't there. Here eyes went wide as she sat up in a flurry of skirt, beginning to search under the piles of towels and clothing and the stacks of maps and bundles of coins for all the newcomers. "Oh no..." the girl moaned. "My pen... I have to..." She bit her lip as the journal tumbled to the ground, shutting.
"Oh no!" She moaned again, frantically flipping pages- but they were already filling up with more entries by other people. "My place! I lost..."
..And then a cocoon began to rustle. She held the journal close to her chest as she stood up. Chewing on her lip nervously, she glanced about. And someone was coming! And she lost her place! And her pen! She began to grab the basics in a flurry- dropping the journal on the table and grabbing a towel, and-- and then then pen fell from behind her ear to clatter to the floor.
Right as the cocoon crumbled, he smiled and held it aloft proudly.
"My pen!" Which was really a strange choice of words to welcome a new arrival.
