Although normally sparkling clean and compulsively organized, Bubbles' house was boarding on untidy this afternoon, with several balls of yarn clustered around the beginnings of a sweater and sets of clothes being set aside for Pinky to choose from. Bubbles had quite a lot of clothes to sort through--she abused her discount with Iris as much as she could and nearly all of her tiny paycheck went to her fashion.
Anyone who dared to peak into her wardrobe would have seen several neatly arranged drawers of winter, spring and summer dresses and several rows of shoes organized by color and heel length. Accessories were getting to the point of almost having their own drawer and were carefully arranged in boxes hand painted by the blond. One had to wonder if this was what she spent most of her time doing.
Fleshly cut flowers sat in a vase on the windowsill. Small as it was, it was rather homey. It was all very well done, but if Bubbles looked rather distracted, it may have been that her thoughts were, for once, on another person rather than herself.
