When was it lunchtime anyway? Dumpling was hungry!
So far, the rotund greeter's morning had been rather boring. He'd taken to snacking on the now cold meat buns as he anticipated another uneventful day at work. As usual, he had all the supplies prepared in the event that a newcomer should arrive. The map was neatly folded underneath the small sack with coins inside that would ensure that the newborn could survive until they found work. The clothing and towel were neatly folded and a guard was nearby in case there were any... problems. Yet, Dumpling wasn't worried - yet being the keyword.
It was then that Dumpling heard the tell-tale signs of a cocoon hatching. The chair slid back, supplies were grabbed and Dumpling began his waddling to find the source of the hatching.
