Summary: Bastet got a few takers on her request for a spar.
Bastet found a clear area of deck where they should all have plenty of room to move around. This felt right--she had no interest in fighting for no reason, but she didn't like not being able to gauge her own skill.
She snorted to herself. As if anything had really felt right since she'd gotten to this place. She pulled out her journal, and made an entry to let the others know where she was. There was no telling how long they'd be, so she decided to try to warm up.
Her new clothes had come with her on the boat, and she decided a pair of slim leggings and a tank were most suited to this. The stuff Hush had made her would have to wait for a special occasion.
The key, she mused, seemed to be to just move, without letting herself think too much about it. Muscle memory hadn't let her down yet, and she hoped her reaction time was up to the challenge.
Bastet let her mind go blank, shifting and letting a slim leg shoot out to the side.
She hoped she didn't regret this.
