Location: Elevator, then Section 1.
Rating: PG13 for Helios' mouth.
Summary: Helios and Renae escape the sugar-filled wilderness to go home.

"I'm here!" She ran to catch up with Helios, clutching her satchel and a fat pillow that was supposed to be her own weapon.

Oh well. He shuffled into the elevator with the crowd and made sure a spot was open for Renae.

At this point, she wasn't expecting much.

"So that's what it looks like when ants chew off your roof." He commented dryly.

She headed forward, carefully making her way over the mess. "Did you leave anything behind that was important? 'Cause you're probably not going to get it back. Oh hey, look at that!"

"...Sorry 'bout your sketches."

She turned to look at Helios, about to ask him something when she stumbled on a splint of a beam, yelping as she nearly tumbled into the hole.

"Careful." Once satisfied she had stable footing he wrenched the portion of the door still hanging on the frame and tossed it over the hole. "There... still be careful of it."

"...At least we can say the tree is thorough." He commented dryly, scowling at his useless clothing. How was he supposed to go work in the Scavengers' Yard like this?

"The Tree has some funny ideas, that's for sure--" She sifted around with her foot and snickered, bending down. "Footies with hearts on them and these are too big for me. They must be yours! So classy. You should run around in these; you'll be a big hit with the ladies, especially with that flap in the back!" She giggled helplessly.

"C'mon, let's go see how the other levels are fairing." And throw this atrocity off of the tree... He thought to himself.

And just as he'd promised, the offensive pajamas took a quick flight off the tree branch. He honestly didn't care what clothes they used to be.
