Summary: Tensions are high in Edensphere after the recent kidnapping in the Hall of Beginnings, and Charger finally gets called in for work.

The black-haired boy was jogging about and around the Hall--he felt like he had to stay on his feet since that weird incident. There were all kinds of rumors about death, murders, kidnappings,... Wah wah, what next? He wasn't going to get caught up in that stupid stuff, that was for sure.
It wasn't even like he was called on shift very often, which was a pain. Good thing he worked other jobs, or else he'd be bored as crap every single day, now wouldn't he? Hardly ever assigned, and nothing ever seemed to happen on his shifts anyway.
Until he heard something other than his footsteps, and it wasn't someone else coming into the Hall. No, it was the sloppy, gross sound of someone hatching. A rarity for his rare shifts. He wondered if it was going to be a girl, or a guy (he was hoping for a girl). But regardless, he jogged on over to grab up the usual provisions (excluding towel, ha ha) and approaching the newborn.
"Hey hey hey, what's goin' on?"
