Seraph frowned as he shifted his position at the Greeter's table, flipping through the pages of the journal. Another attack... though the victim had been found alive this time. He flipped a page. Some other events, less interesting. Some curiosities with the strange land of 'Rivelata' suspended above their marketplace... Absently, the man wondered how Siegfried was doing at home, the beast probably pining and whining at the door until he returned.
He suppressed a small smile. He liked that.. dog... thing better than he liked some of his housemates.
Another page of the journal was flipped. For all the new arrivals they had been entertaining (Especially Iris- the young man always seemed thrilled to outfit the newest arrivals,) the hall was very still. The Guards were scarce, with the latest events and--
The commonplace wriggling on a cocoon met his ears, and after a long sigh, Seraph closed his journal and stood, ruby tinted eyes closing for a moment. "...Hmph." It was always when he was noting how empty or barren the hall was that it decided to grace him with a new arrival. The stern man picked up a bundle of things for his visitor, and quickly located the cocoon ready to hatch.
And now, to wait.
