Family Meeting? )
Toushi arrived a few seconds after Memory, huffing as he opened the door. "I'm home!" he shouted into the house, toeing off his shoes by the door as just seemed to be appropriate; one of those weird habits from his past life, he supposed. Walking into the living area, he paused, seeing Memory all ready there.
"Oh, hey," he said more softly as he unfastened the large sword from his back. "Is Kazahana here yet?"

She stepped back inside for a moment to pick up KC, then returned to join Toushi and Memory out in the common area. "Before we get started, I want you two to meet KC," she said, giving the cat a good scritch behind the ears. "He was Throne's and Argent. Now he's mine." She gave them a steady look, not expecting either of them to disagree, but unwilling to back down if they did.

Lately she considered the young woman her sister, and made a note to herself to spend some more time with the raven-haired girl. "So....you wanted to talk about something, brother?" she quietly asked, looking to her book and hugging it to her.

"Uh...hi," he said to the cat, scratching his head awkwardly. He wasn't really opposed to cats, he just didn't want to have to be the one to feed it, so as long as that was Kazahana's duty, then whatever worked for her. "Welcome to the house," Toushi added, attempting to be more supportive once he thought better of it.
Nodding to the blonde-haired girl, Toushi crossed his arms, motioning with his head for Kazahana (and KC) to take a seat. "Yeah, I, uh..." How to start..
"Some shit may go down soon," he said rather bluntly. "I just want to make sure you two are gonna be prepared..."

She had no idea what had riled Toushi up so, but she flashed back to her own recent unusual experience. It had been an episode from the past, but perhaps it was an omen for the future.
