Iris was busy finishing an endearing pink heart on one of the otherwise ugly newborn shirts. It wasn't fancy embroidery, just enough to liven up the plain--horribly, unacceptably drab--clothing. He sprinkled some glitter on the shirt for good measure, and looked cheerfully at Seraph.

"It seems such a peaceful job." The flamboyant tailor cooed happily, shaking some of the excess glitter off, right onto Seraph. "Really, you must have plenty of time to sit and think about things. But I wonder that no one's tried to fix the clothing we give the poor newborns. I noticed right away it was dreadful. And not a single skirt to be had!

"You should really let me modify your wardrobe Seraph. Chosen has such excellent taste, and you are a delightful looking man under all that somber. Why, between the two of us we could have you looking dashing." Iris set the shirt down and picked up another, threading his needle with some sparkly lavender thread. "So what happens when--" The sound of the cocoon had him leaping to his feet, lips parting in an ( ... )

Osaka, who was no longer quite Osaka, but close enough, came into awareness slowly. As time passed, not really realizing its passage, the girl soon realized was in something that resembled... a, well, round thing. Egg, was it? Or perhaps a giant, solid bubble? Someone's stomach? Something else entirely? Whatever she was in, it didn't really matter. What fascinated her at the moment were the voices. They sounded nice. Well, one sounded a little off, like someone had broke something in his voice box, and now it played nothing but music from a period in time Osaka couldn't quite place. But her brain told her it was like that, so she accepted it without a second thought. Her brain was also telling her that it was time to get out, lest she drown in whatever she was in. Which was silly, since she could breathe, but she wanted to get out ( ... )

When she opened her eyes again, the bubbles were gone. Perhaps hours had passed since her dream, or maybe it was just a moment. What mattered was that instead of crowds of adoring people surrounding her, all she saw the dull and totally uninspiring flesh walls of her cocoon.

This was all very strange. She was warm but naked. But oh, where was her beautiful dress?! Her pretty shoes! She mourned their loss and that of her crown. This wasn't right! She needed to get out, NOW.

She kicked at her cocoon with a sense of urgency and was able to make a large gash. She then tore at it with all the rage of a spoiled child at Christmas. There was a soft plomp as she tumbled out, goopy and suddenly cold.

As she sat there, dazed and newly born, only one word came to mind.

"EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!"

"Stop that." As Iris sprinkled glitter, the stone-faced man pulled a faint frown and brushed the glitter from himself. He wouldn't bother addressing the issues of skirts. He would just pick up the usual supplies (And deal with the fact that the shirts now bore glitter and shimmering hearts,) And make his way to the two women. Or, rather... the one woman and the one young girl.

...Who both had rather unusual reactions. Despite his stoicism, Seraph's eyebrows raised at the O-HA from one direction and what sounding like whining disgust from the other. His brows knit together.

This would be good practice on his patience.

"...When you each acclimate yourselves to your new surroundings, please get dressed." A pair of the standard one-size-fits-no-one clothing was handed to each girl. After all, having naked women running about was hardly professional. "I am Seraph. This is Iris." The fabulous man was gestured to.

"...Welcome to Edensphere."

Iris danced on the spot almost giddily. For a moment he seemed indecisive, and then with a grand gesture he set off to follow in Seraph's footsteps.

Unfortunately the grand gesture also knocked over his very copiously large bottle of glitter. Over everything. The sparkles sailed through the air and spilled across the floor in a flashy, multi-colored, rather beautiful, if gaudy, display of a mess that would probably take housekeeping something a little short of forever to clean up ( ... )
