Hopefully this Tatsu guy would be cool. I mean, he was looking for a roommate over the journals, so it didn't seem like he could be that narrow-minded, and their few conversations had gone over pretty well. The guy was new, but Scales didn't mind.
Either way, he headed out there with his blankets. It would be weird, actually having a house - he didn't care about being rained on, but it would be nice to be away from the cold even if not really. At the same time, the freedom of living nowhere was pretty damn nice. Maybe he'd move out if he didn't like it.
Blue hair. Hah!
"Hey!" He said, heading over that way. "Tatsu?"

It was probably nothing. Even if it was something, he couldn't remember anything else related to that. So he smiled and nodded. "Yeah, that's me. You're Scales?"

"What gave me away? Was it the shiny green face? No, don't tell me, the tail, right? The tail always gives me up." He grinned and nodded. "Yeah, I'm Scales. Right now I kinda look like a doof in blankets, but that's because it's cold. And I'm not so great at keeping my heat in like the rest of you crazy people."
He glanced up at the little section two place behind them. "So, that's it?" He asked, cocking his head toward the place. It was small, but Scales figure that as long as the house was tall enough and the bed was long enough, he was fine. "Looks quaint."

"We've got our own toilet, but the showers seem to be shared. I don't know if that bothers you." He wandered over towards the sleeping area and poked the beds with his foot. "But the beds seem comfortable enough, so that's good."

Who gave a crap about a naked guy anyway? Especially a naked lizardman. "Glad to see we have our own toilet, though. Using public toilets really is a pain in the ass, and that pun was totally unintended. I sued to sleep on a bed in Ikea Island. now I have a job though, so now I guess I should have a house too, you know? It's just nice to have the roommate company, I think."
He flopped down on the longer-looking bed and nodded. "Probably because it sucks, you know?"

Ikea Island... "That's where the furniture is, right? I took a look around there, but I didn't stay long. I want to check out the dojo some more, but I..." He thought for a moment. "I tried attacking one of the dummies and it felt weird without a weapon."

He laid down on the bed and looked up at the top of the house. It was wierd, not staring at the glass bubble above him when he slept - but comforting, at teh same time. IF it rained, he wouldn't be rained on. That was a good thought. "The dojo's really cool, though. You like to fight? I'll spar you sometime, assuming it's heated in there. But..I dunno, I don't really know if I'd want a weapon. Maybe a knife."
Reply
He nodded. "I do. I mean... I think I do. I haven't really tried it much. Something seems... I don't know, missing. Besides the weapon thing, I mean." Tatsu sat down on his bed. "I'll figure it out eventually. But for now... I don't know. There's still so much to check out around here... I mean, I've been here a few weeks and I still haven't explored everything yet."
Reply
He looked over at Tatsu. "Yeah, I know about that missing thing, too. I think it comes with having all of your memories snatched." A dry laugh. "A problem, yanno?"
Reply
Tatsu sighed. "I'll deal with it. They'll come back when they're ready."

He lapsed into a sort of uneasy silence and thought about his memory and his dream. Maybe it was good he lost his memories, if his feelings told him anything at all. He shook it off, though, "Yeah, I don't really worry about that part. I mean, some clothes are good, you know? But being a lizardman kind of keeps you away from the height of fashion. Jeans for me, hoodie when it's this cold."
He tugged his blankets on him more.

He hadn't told anyone about his dream yet. Thinking about it made him uneasy. "I had a purpose. And in my dream... it said if I forgot my purpose, the world would burn." Tatsu ran a hand through his hair. "But it was just a dream... right?"
Reply
Another hopeless shrug. "What are you gonna do, you know? Go home and fulfill your purpose? Like anyone knows where that is."
Reply
He sighed. On to a different topic. "So... you said you got a job? What kind of job is it?"
Reply
He grinned. "It's good, though. I occasionally throw unruly patrons out, but most of them are pretty cool. Where do you work now?"
Reply
At the question, he smiled. "I work on the farm. With the animals, actually. I like working there. The animals seem to do what I need them to do, pretty much. And it makes me feel... I don't know. At peace, sort of. It's weird, but nice."
