Justice had become used to the mannequin-like figures whose movements seemed to be accompanied by a muted white noise of sorts - much like sounds heard through an open window with the street many floors below - the volume increasing or decreasing according to proximity and numbers. In here, it was relatively quiet - even the mannequins, it seemed, were affected by that strange ability to instill a certain amount of hushed awe that books in any quantity possessed.

Consequently, the distinctly human voice that broke into his thoughts as he turned the pages of tantalisingly familiar-and-yet-not book, was entirely unexpected. Startled, he flipped the book closed, mildly aware that the only way out of this area was beyond the direction that the voice came from and irritated at his own paranoia.

He looked the younger man over, recognising the outfit as one of the paintball uniforms. It was similar to the one that Lezard had been forced to wear while doing his rounds the past few days and not concealing enough to hide the wearer's identity. A slight hesitation - Justice was quite sure this was someone he had never met - and he gestured with his book towards the holstered paintball marker.

"If you were planning to shoot me with that... thing, then don't waste either your time or ammunition. I have been lucky enough to be spared this latest stupidity."

Slipping the book back onto the shelf he turned to face the stranger, who on second glance seemed younger than he had initially thought - older than Prongs, certainly, but not quite an adult. A moment more, and he extended his right hand.

"Justice. I assume that you are also from the Sphere."

It was more a statement than a question, and he glanced beyond the teenager with a wry half-smile.

"I doubt that I am any less lost than the rest of us."
