Clé was standing on a dais made of gears and it is counting down like a giant clock.
Instead of a 12 there is a skull, slowly turning to dust as the hands sweep closer and now she's floating above it. No matter how much she tries she can't get any nearer to the machine.
Machina.
"What are you trying to prove?"
A nation of metal golems, marching against some unseen force. They are marching to their death. Machines cannot die, can they?
Only now she can't see them anymore. She's falling into leaves, branches of a tree winding and capturing her, unable to do anything and knowing the world is going to end.
"Did you really think you could prevent it this time around? Being dead doesn't make it any easier, foolish girl."
