Looking for heaven in the real world
Characters: Pure/Angel (babyoftheflock), Kanin/Toki (kanin_guitarist), and Hybrid/Max (nixe_eva)

Summary: Willy Wonka attracted the innocent Pure. Who invited Kanin. Naturally, Hybrid has to make sure her baby roomie doesn't get hurt. Or go sugar-crazy.
It wasn't that bad, actually, having Pure around. She was adorable, and actually made Hybrid smile. She protected the girl, who reciprocated it with unabashed love and adorable behavior. It wasn't hard to keep their little room clean with Pure around, who generally made Hybrid keep it clean out of unsaid guardianship. Plus, a messy room was no place for a little girl to live.
Still, she was keeping the fear that gripped her looking at the doors of the elevator - the Stairway - to keep Pure from knowing about it. She had to be strong for her, that much she knew instinctively. She pressed the button and smiled down at her.
"Don't be afraid of it," she said softly, giving a comforting squeeze, though it was also a recommendation for herself. Hybrid couldn't show the terror that gripped her in the windowless elevator.
