Summary: A couple more newborns arrive in Edensphere, and Fugue is there to greet them.

The bright burning light from his dream slowly faded as he drifted awake. His surroundings shifted from the emptiness of space into someplace cramped, but warm and weightless. It was actually quite comfortable. He opened his eyes and discovered he was completely enclosed in...something.

'The hell?'

He tried to say something but he couldn't speak in the thick syrup he was currently floating in. The walls surrounding him were soft, squishy almost. He absentmindedly crushed his fingers in it while he tried to decide if he should just go back to sleep or not. It was so very warm....

He must have accidentally squeezed too hard though, because the wall began to give under his fingers. 'Crap!' Before he could stop himself, he was tumbling forward, from the warmness to someplace very very cold and HARD.

"Ow..."

The lulling motion of the giant man carrying her in her dream faded as a strange weightless feeling began to invade the girl's system. Eyes fluttering open as she attempted to look around, she opened her mouth to speak only to instead inhale a strange goopy liquid.

Panic quickly set in.

Flailing about frantically, she began to kick her legs, wave her arms, and generally spaz out. She couldn't recognize her goo-tinged surroundings and she couldn't remember anything except her dream of a giant she called 'Kenchan'. his significance to her or this place were both unknown to her, but she quickly recovered herself and paused. Taking a moment to think about the situation she centered all of her efforts toward one area which seemed somewhat thinner than the rest of her pod.

Striking out, she forced her momentum downwards and kicked again. An odd cold surrounded her as she slid down to a much harder surface, gasping quietly.

Hullo Twin!

He slowly got to his feet, rubbing his very sore rear end. 'Damn it!' He knew he should have stayed asleep. He tried to shake the goo from his head and ended up nearly taking an eye out with his hair.

'Ack! Oh. Dreads. ...Cool.'

Then he heard a loud slosh and the sound of something small and wet falling to the floor. He turned around--and caught sight of a naked young girl. A very young looking girl.

"Gack!"

He turned away and closed his eyes. 'Wrong! Wrong! So very very wrong!'

...And his hand was still on his own naked ass. "EEP!"

Why hallo thar!

Ignoring the chill in the air for now she glanced down at her hands, shaking them quickly in an attempt to clean them before moving to wipe at her face. She opened and closed her mouth a few time, like a fish gasping for air.

She heard someone speaking, and quickly turned towards the noise as goo sprayed from her hair. "Huh?"

Her lack of clothing had yet to filter through to her, but she was not incredibly modest either. Like most children she only really wore clothing when someone made her.

"Oh! Hi!"

Her own voice sounded odd and chirpy to her ears, but she smiled and waved anyway.

Jumping when he shrieked, she shrieked back without thinking. "EEP!"

Well, the screaming got Fugue's attention, and he hurried on over to see the two, who... uhh, seemed to be getting rather well acquainted with each other. But who's to say that an old man decked out in black robes looked welcoming... or comforting for that matter.

"Calm yourselves." Another stupid line from an otherwise creepy-looking elder. "You'll receive an explanation soon enough."

He tried to stay at a safe distance, before tossing towels toward the two newborns. "Welcome. You have just been born, and all are born unclothed. Wipe yourselves down; I have clothing to give you. As well as explanations, once things... calm down."
