No Tears
So today I got up early to go with mom to get a haircut. And for the first time in forever I didn't have to cry over how it turned out! It's almost like I didn't get a haircut except my hair is shaped up again! It's amazing walking out without tears :) Great feeling let me tell you!!!
On another note of the day, talked with Mandy today. It was nice hearing her voice again after so long. Haha...ok not that long but I miss not having that girl around! Miss Eden apparantly is a mess (what's new). She's definitely got my independent attitude...maybe a bit TOO independent! She was jabberin almost the entire time. We had a nice chat...don't ask about what. Only part that made a lot of a sense was her booboo. Poor little girl fell off the slide. Obviously didn't bother her too much! She's just always liked saying "OUCH!!" She's too cute! When I went to get off the phone, she waved goodbye and blew me kisses. I'm taking that as a sign she remembers me...and NO ONE CAN TELL ME OTHERWISE CUZ THAT'S WHAT I'M HOLDING ONTO!!! It's so nice to hear Amanda happy about not working! I'm so glad they are going to be able to stay home together now. It'll be nice for both of them :) I can't wait to see them all in another 3 months...John'll be the head minister by that time! That's just amazing and I can't wait to hear him in his sermon. I could not be more proud of my daughter's family. I'm so blessed to have each of them in my life.
On another note, Aaron and I got in one of our famous tiffs...but that's not the point. I sent him a Hallmark card with 1 Corinthians 13 on it...that's my favorite bible verse because of it's great significance. So, as this is something I want to always be able to treasure and the card was over email, I'm putting what I wrote in here. Aaron, I adore you and could not be luckier. I hope you get to feeling better quickly! You are my best friend and I'm so blessed to have you as a part of my life. I love you darlin!!!
BabyDoll~ This has always been my favorite bible verse. I've always wanted to love you in this way and I know I often falter especially in getting angry. I am sorry. We'll have our fights, but I never want to give up simply because we disagree. I promise you that I will always be there to work through our problems with you. We just need to work together. I love you with all my heart and I am going to try to live up to God's words of love. You are the love of my life and I am so lucky to have you.
