Relay for Life
Relay for Life was fun. Course that's cuz I was the chaperone! And as one of the boys put it "you are the cool chaperone." At least I'm finally cool for something ;) It was awesome being there. We sang karaoke (the girls did). In fact, we sang Happy Birthday to Aaron as a surprise. I'm not sure he was a huge fan of that though. I made the ugliest birthday cake ever! I needed to not try to make it better beceause then it just got worse when it had looked good. Oh well...it was still really yummie!
I was a bit of a wreck during the evening. One year ago, I met John and Mandy at the agency. Course, the date wasn't the same, but it was on the day of the race that I went up. And then I broke down at the ceremony...same thing happened this year. One year ago I finalized (in my heart) the decision to choose adoption for Eden. I was so glad when Aaron got there. Course, then we kept getting yelled at for being together but it wasn't like that! I was crying in the tent to him people!!
I have to admit though....I'm so in love with him! Eme and him and I went in the tent to sleep. Though Eme slept for about 5 hours Aaron and I never fell asleep. We stayed up talkin and I cried and then of course later on snugglin and all that good stuff. He has always been there for me. Definitely more than Daniel. He's been so great through all of it. Last night, when I was crying and I apologized he said there was no need because he knew it was hard and it was important to me. That's so wonderful to have that. He actually asks about Mandy, John and Eden!!! A guy accepting them in my lives was important to me and with Aaron there's no question about it. I'm hopin he'll be able to come up with me sometime...but we'll see. He's the greatest! He called the other day and said Hello Beautiful. AWWW! Hehe.
