Holiday Cheer
The holidays have come and went and I still have yet to update. Truly, there is not much to say. I enjoyed the time with my family and Lori and am missing the lazy days I spent at home. My grandparents gave me money, measuring spoons, and Pyrex bowls I wanted. I got a REALLY NICE set of pots and pans from my parents along with work clothes, an ITunes gift card, and other odds and ends. Aaron got me an ITunes Gift card, the book "Ever After" that I had really wanted (I LOVE Karen Kingsbury) and a card with the gift of going to get a white walker coat that I really want. YEA!!!! My brother got me the sweetest poem which he had written and framed himself (I wonder where he got that idea ;)). Mandy got me another Willow Tree which was beautiful! I love collecting those things. And I've created a trend of the collection with Mandy and my mom. :) I got a blender from Aaron's family which sadly I forgot to bring back with me :( At their family gift exchange, I got a nice candle piece to go in front of a fireplace (so now I need to pick a house with a fireplace ;)), a massager, and a blanket. Lori got me Victoria Secret goodies of which I adore the slippers! It was an awesome Christmas and I enjoyed every minute of it. New Years was spent enjoying time by ourselves and with friends. Best holiday yet!
Of course, I traveled with Aaron's family for their Christmas and Lew and Meghan's wedding. It was fun though stressful at times (as read in prior posts ;)). Family can do that to anyone. The wedding was BEAUTIFUL! I even dragged (literally) Ethan out on the dance floor to dance with me. And of course, Aaron's dad as well. It was so much fun! The wedding was far more than I'll ever be spending on mine but truly, it was a once in a lifetime beautiful occassion. I enjoyed every minute of it! Of course, the best part - other than seeing the obvious love in Lew and Meghan's eyes and spending time with the love of my life - was catching the boquet! Sorry Mel! ;)
