Another Long Week...1st Part
So, update since last week...Sunday I went to the Catholic church with Michelle. It's a lot like the Episcopal church so there wasn't a huge change for me. It was really nice being able to church up here with someone :) I wish I wouldn't have night classes or I'd have went to the Maundy Thursday service and all. It's such an amazing thing to be in church with other Christians to pray. The best part was that I didn't feel like I was with people that were just going through the motions like I do when I'm at my home church. Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of people at St. Paul's that truly are worshipping at the service, but on a whole, the voices sounds exactly like recitation. So it was a nice change for me :) Hung out with Michelle and went to a group meeting that evening.
Monday, I went to the pregnancy center for training and afterwards stayed to work because Kristen didn't have any volunteers to help her out all week. I did my first pregnancy client! I've sat in before but never actually did the pregnancy intake. Kristen sat in for the first part but for the pregnancy test and the after counseling, she left cuz she said I was doing fine by myself. I did material assistance too. It was awesome getting to do the counseling!! Joy and I went to run errands after bio class. When we left Target she realized as she was walking out she'd never taken the gift bags off her arm and the lady hadn't charged her. I told her not to worry about it Target overcharges anyways. When we walked out she was like hurry! as she looked behind her for security. Hehe. Fun times! Then we went to the bank and I ended up taking the pen on accident. So we're both stealers now...ooppsss! Lori told us that it all starts small....better watch us...we might end up on Oprah for being shoplifters! Hehe. Tuesday, got my admissions interview info so I've got to get busy on getting that done so I can get into my classes. Out of the 5 weeks left, 4 of them are so busy it's not close to funny!
Wednesday, I went to the pregnancy center to work again. I talked with a lot of women on the phone, but we didn't actually have any appointments while I was there. It was a pretty easy day :)
I'll write the rest of this after getting back from my weekend at my daughter's!!!! That's right :) Easter with the princess and fam!
