For the record...
I am not a fan of slash in fanfiction, particularly when it puts together characters that make no damn sense.
A majority of the time its only done for fapping purposes, or for fetishizing two attractive male characters, which is also wrong and damaging. Not surprisingly, its usually women writers who do this.
And most of all? I hate Sirius/Remus slash. Loathe it. Entirely.
