Jesus took the Tewlve and told them. "We are going up to Jerusalem, and everything that is writtin by the prophets about the Son of Man will be fulfilled." [luke 18:31}
Jesus knew that by going to Jerusalem he was heading for the conclusion of his time here on earth. He knew that in Jerusalem he would fulfill his purpose in coming to earth. He spent 30 years preparing and the 3 years on the road. God has a plan for each and every one of us. Our hoal must not be to become what we want, but to become what God wants us to be. These could be the same, but often they're not. We may start down one path without any thought as to " Is this where I am supposed to go?" We will face life changing choices untill we're finally heading in the direction that God wants. The frustrating part is that once we start on the path the goal doesn't necessarily become clearer. WE don't always get to see the flashing light in te distance that lets us we're close. We just need to walk. God will let us know the wheres, whens, and whys when we need to know. On the meantime, we just get to keep the faith and keep walking.
^ [OZ says:] the great thing to remember is that we go up to Jerusalem to fulfill God's purpose, not our own. Naturally, our ambitions are our own; in the Christian life we have no aim of our own. There is so much said today about our decisions for Christ, our determination to be Christians, our decisions for this and that, but in the New Testament it is the aspect of God's compelling that is brought our. "ye have not chesen Me, but I have chosen you." We are not taken up into conscios agreement with God's purpose; we are taken up into God's purpose without any consciousness at all.

>just between you and God>
When you talk to God today ask if you're on the right path. Don't ask where you'r going. Don't make suggestions. (God has already made up his mind.) Just ask if you're on the right path. If you're not... He'll find a way to let you know.
this is the Journey
keep walking
keep Focused
Pray.
