These are my peppers as of Wednesday June 11th. They are all doing nicely -- even the two slow, late seedlings finally seem to be getting their acts together and growing. I expect they will always be running a week or two behind the others, but that's okay. I mean, if these all survive the animals on my deck, that is going to be a LOT of peppers come autumn.
As you can see, my mom brought me a twelfth pepper seedling on Sunday. This one is a slightly different variety from the others. It was also professionally grown in a greenhouse and is thus more, hmm, lush than my little homegrown seedlings. It's in a good big pot already, so I will not have to replant it the way I will be doing with the majority of the other seedlings this coming weekend. (I think I may give them their proper adult stakes at the same time, since the popsicle sticks were always a stopgap measure while they were still relatively tiny.)
