[Fic] "Running From Her Shadow" -- Labyrinth

The movie Labyrinth has bugged me since the first time I watched it, mostly because it's trying to be a family film but it has much darker subtextual themes, mostly all about sex. Fascinating. I have also watched the movie Labyrinth, but failed to catch those undertones (probably because I was too young at the time to even know what sex was). This view, however, makes so much sense. The ficlet is, like your others, amazing.

Oh, and. I love your last line. :)

I saw Labyrinth for the first time when I was 18 -- my roommate was horrified that I'd never seen one of her favorite childhood movies -- and, being a reluctant English major, I immediately started picking it apart. And there's a lot there to analyze!
