The worst part about the filling removal/replacements (I did both teeth in one go, because bleep having to make a second appointment) had nothing to do with the actual tooth stuff.
It was a toss-up between two things:
1) The bitter novocaine backwash from the lower right molar injections that nearly made me vomit before they suctioned it out.
2) The hygienist repeatedly stabbing me with the suction tool just far enough beneath the lower right molar that the area in question hadn't been numbed so it basically felt like, you know, someone trying to carve me with a badly sharpened plastic knife.
Normally I have no problems with dental checkups or dental surgery at all, so those were both unpleasant firsts.
But whatever, I have non-leaky fillings and that's the main thing. :)
