organized religion should be about community, or why bother being organized at all?
As of approximately 7:15pm today, I am a member of my church's Board of Trustees. :D
(Okay, technically my term doesn't begin until July, but whatever; the vote was tonight at our annual meeting and that's the important point.)
Our 2019-20 budget also passed, and without any nitpicking either, which is always nice. :DD
And now I am going to unwind a little by mucking around on the internet for an hour or two, after which I will go to bed for a well-deserved night's sleep. :DDD
