2 things: college and tax prep

Jan 16, 2019 14:55

I got an email from TC3 just now saying my diploma will be available for pickup next week, and if I don't pick it up in person by the 25th, they'll mail it to my address of record.

Since I don't really feel like taking three hours out of my day to go pick up some papers in person (even though I think, having glanced at my schedule, that I technically could do so), I guess I'll get it by mail in two or three weeks. :)

In unrelated news, I have my first Not the IRS client at 3:30pm, and I have the typical "oh god I've forgotten everything!!!" jitters, which I know are ridiculous and will settle out as soon as I get started. But right now, I think I will indulge in a little catastrophizing-ad-absurdum, to get it out of my system. *wry*

(By the time I hit massive targeted computer virus attacks and spontaneous combustion, I generally am too busy laughing at myself to keep being nervous.)

ETA, 4:00pm Tax prep session went very smoothly and I got the client a part-year hardship exemption for the ACA penalty tax. \o/
