(bet you thought I was going to talk about a man...)
Life is going well. And I keep waiting for the bottom to fall out. I guess old habits die hard.
The sale on my condo went through, and I move in on the 26th of September. It's absolutely gorgeous, it's a newer condo with over 2000 square feet. Five bedrooms, two and a half bathrooms (one with a brand new clawfoot bathtub in it, the bathroom itself is a small spa, with enough room for a sitting area in it), three floors. The living room has floor to ceiling windows, and all the bedrooms have bay windows. The kitchen is immaculate, with large open spaces. The kitchen is my domain, I'm like Emeril + Vagina. I also have a den. Which means I get to move all my current living room furniture into the den and become yuppie. And buy funky and artsy things. It even has a "gallery" area.
The great thing about this place is it's location. It's a block away from one of the best hospitals, set back away from any major roads, and quiet. It's in an area I have termed the "condo cabbage patch". Where all the new condos come to be brought into the world. So it's decidedly yuppie. Think Pier One and Starbucks three blocks away.
The reason I bought this particular one is this. I can rent it out very easily when I decide I want to travel again. Enough said. Plus, because of the size and location...I can easily rent it out for three times the amount of my mortgage.
23, financially stable, small business owner sitting in the black. Who would have thought? I can't see the bottom. I'm just waiting for Jonathan Rhys Meyers to phone me up and tell me I'm his dream date.
It could happen.
