Gippal's advice about Baralai, if he had to write some kind of text like "Baralai for Beginners", would stipulate that you should never underestimate him, always assume he knows what you're thinking, never assume he's innocent, and always assume he has some sneaky thought in his mind which is going to be translated into action relatively swiftly.
It's his only explanation for how Baralai has managed to corner him, pin him to the wall, and get him into such a state, with his pants unbuckled and his shirt shoved up and marks on his skin and cooling places where Baralai's mouth has been. It's the only explanation for why he has totally no voice -- hell, virtually no thoughts, either.
