Common sense says that twenty year old Dean will kiss sixteen year old Sam expertly. He kisses people all the time, and he's Dean, he always knows what he's doing, he's always got that cock-sure air about him. Sam expected that when he finally gathered the courage to kiss Dean, it would be amazing and perfect, like in the movies but better. He didn't expect this. Dean is tentative, eager but a little clumsy, nipping a little too hard at Sam's lip, and Sam would swear he was shaking, if he didn't think it might mostly be him shaking.
"Sam," Dean whispers, breathes, and god, he sounds so uncertain, when Sam thought he'd have all the answers.
