Bran sat hunched at the edge of the field, Cafall sat beside him, alert, panting. They were both watching the movements of the sheep. Cafall looked as if he would like to join in the efforts at moving them, though because Bran didn't move, nor did he. Owen and John were doing all the work anyway, and doing it well. To Bran, watching, it seemed as if they never even needed to communicate -- a thought, and the other would be in the right place, just a wave or shout and the most complicated plans were agreed. He envied them that.
