Summary: Kain won't cry anymore. For mount_ordeals.
Kain doesn't cry.
Well, he tells himself, it's almost true. Not quite, because he has cried -- to Rosa, in the past. He still remembers the way it felt to be held in her arms, to be able to rest his forehead against her shoulder and imagine more into it. When he was younger, he imagined her as a mother, a sister, and now -- as more. Except when he tries to envision it now, he sees her holding Cecil, and that hurts more than anything.
She's Cecil's, now, Cecil's shoulder to cry on, Cecil's homecoming. Kain realises that Cecil probably wouldn't begrudge him Rosa's comfort, but he'd begrudge himself it because he lost her to Cecil, because he no longer has her heart in the way he had it.
So when Kain would like to cry the most, he doesn't, because he's lost the only place he felt safe to let it out.
