Edge likes the way she wears her own skin, not worrying what he thinks and not worrying what anyone else thinks. She doesn't worry about inadequacy, just gives herself, as she is, and damn but the first time he saw her naked he couldn't think of any word but perfect.
Now, he has other words, but they usually don't matter anyway because he's too busy kissing her to compliment her on her beauty. Compliments are for when she's dressed up and smiling, queenly and gracious, and he's entirely unworthy.
Kisses are for when she's his and his alone and he knows it.
