FFX-2: Treatment

Summary: Thoroughly surpressing Rikku's urges. For sel_barton.
Paine is comfortable enough for it to be unusual, even with Rikku flopped half over her with one of her arms wrapped too tightly around her and the other, probably just as tightly, around Yuna. Even with Yuna tucked up against her side in a little ball, she's comfortable. Since that's a rarity for her, since she makes it a point to notice the bad things in life, she settles into it happily enough, just a little too warm in the embrace of the two girls.
"You think she's awake, Yunie?" Rikku whispers, and Yuna's little wriggle to sit up and peek at her face alerts Paine to the necessity of keeping her eyes closed.
"No," Yuna whispers back, smothering a giggle.
"I'm getting those urges again," Rikku whispers, wriggling a little and thankfully easing up a little on her grip. Urges, when it came to Rikku, meant her unfortunate penchant for stealing Paine's underwear and dying it bright and horrifically girly colours, or giving Buddy (who appeared to have an unfortunate and embarrassing crush on Paine nowadays) Paine's underwear along with completely unrealistic love notes and, most recently, making a banner out of Paine's underwear.
Rikku's urges require instant 'treatment', for example, by tickling, or else swift retribution. Paine weighs up the pros and cons and then stirs a little, reaching up to run a hand down Rikku's side.
"You're not going to do anything interesting to my underwear. Pick on Yuna instead."
Yuna sits up, a little indignant, her eyes on Paine's hand slowly creeping toward that ticklish spot of Rikku's that makes her writhe. "Paine! That's hardly fair."
Paine isn't sure whether she's referring to picking on her, or to the hand definitely aimed at tickling Rikku into a heap of helpless giggles if not to death, but that doesn't stop her.
"Hah! Paine! That's -- that's -- stop it!"
