Rydia curls against him, tired and sleepy. It's the only time her sharp tongue stills, when he's tired her out and she lies draped over him like this. The thought makes him smile, though, the thought that he won her, sharp tongue and all, married her and has her here now. He won her and bickering aside, nights when he sleeps on the couch aside, they've been happy. Even though they argue. Even though people have no idea how a relationship can be built on sniping comments and snapping at each other. This kind of happiness is, he thinks, best.
