Delicious dinner
I went to dinner tonight with Anne and it was delicious! We went to a vegetarian restaurant called Mother's here in Austin. It's apparently quite well known; I'm told their brunch is worthy of homicide as well. I had a wonderful spinach salad (and it was a real salad- not those sad justlettuce/justcarrots/justatomato things one generally gets) and a bowl of tomato artichoke bisque. It was most divine.
We walked across the street for dessert at Dolce Vita. This place is quickly becoming one of my favorite places in Austin. The desserts are just ridiculous. I had a cannoli that made me want to have a second one. lol Anne got chocolate gelato and pistachio gelato. I had a bite and that, too, was amazing. The coffee was a bit strong, but I like it like that.
Overall- mighty fine dining experience. I will have to remember that for a date; you know, should I ever happen upon one of those.
