holidays and hospitals dont mix!

I have gotten stuck working all the winter holidays again! I was on call for Thanksgiving (didn't get called in,but still wasn't able to see my family). Hannukah was at my sisters on the 20th of Dec. After she was released from the hospital. I got to see my family and that was good. Then work got crazy! I have been doing a lot of over night shifts. I worked the overnight shift Xmas eve. We had John's whole family over on Xmas day. Everyone was great and really helped out since I had no sleep.I worked Friday and Sat overnight shifts, and went to Atlantic City on Sunday again no sleep. I had off monday and tueday. I rested on Monday, and on Tuesday ran around all day.Had blood work to check my hormone levels, and to see if the medication is helping my pituitary tumor. Saw my friends Leia and Adam. Leia was up from Georgia visiting family and friends. It was great to see her. Today I was supposed to work 4-12 and got a phone call this morning that the person working the overnight shift tonight didn't renew his state license for radiology. He wasn't allowed to work. Work offered me a double shift, but I just wanted to work overnight and get the holiday pay. I was not up for working a 16 hour shift today.I will come home tomorrow and sleep a bit. Then its off to Holly's house for a new years family get together with John's family. Work on friday ugh! John's dad is coming to visit this weekend since we didn't see him over the holdiays. Hope to get some rest
